In Elden Ring, maximizing your damage output often relies on obtaining effective buff incantations early in your journey through the Lands Between. Among these abilities, Flame, Grant Me Strength stands out as an essential tool for builds focusing on physical and fire damage. Locating this incantation requires venturing toward Caelid, where players can retrieve it without needing to defeat difficult bosses.
The Direct Path to Fort Gael
The spell is located behind Fort Gael, a fortified stronghold situated on the western edge of the Caelid region. To reach this area quickly, players can travel from Limgrave into Caelid toward the Fort Gael North Site of Grace. From there, ride south along the red landscape while remaining vigilant against hostile archers guarding the path.
Navigating Behind the Fortress Walls
Instead of charging through the main gate of Fort Gael, circle around the exterior wall to the left. Following this perimeter path leads directly to the rear side of the castle structure. Guarding the back area are two Flame Chariots positioned near a corpse resting against the wall.
Securing the Incantation Safely
The spell itself rests on the corpse positioned directly between the two Flame Chariots. Players can either sneak carefully using stealth or ride in fast on Torrent to snatch the item before escaping. Once acquired, you retain the incantation permanently even if enemy attacks overwhelm you immediately afterward.
Combat Benefits and Build Compatibility
Flame, Grant Me Strength raises both physical and fire-affinity attack power by twenty percent for thirty seconds. It requires fifteen Faith to memorize, making it accessible to a wide variety of character builds. This powerful buff stacks multiplicatively with other spells like Golden Vow, providing massive damage potential for tough encounters.
